Circular knitted technical textiles are fabrics produced using circular knitting machines that are designed for technical or functional purposes. Unlike fashion fabrics, which are primarily concerned with appearance, technical textiles are engineered to meet stringent requirements for strength, elasticity, moisture control, and other performance characteristics.

Circular knitting uses a set of needles arranged in a circular formation to create fabric in a continuous, seamless loop. This method of knitting produces textiles that are often stretchable and highly adaptable to a wide range of shapes and sizes.
