Beverly Knits – Leading USA Textile Manufacturer
Beverly Knits was founded in 1980 by Robert and JoAnn Sytz. The company has been owned since 2004 by Ron Sytz, who is the company’s CEO, and his wife, Janet, who serves as CFO. It is one of the largest circular knitters in the United States, manufacturing made in the USA textiles.
In recent years, Beverly Knits has expanded their manufacturing operations to include dyeing, finishing, and cutting and sewing and capabilities. With their expansion to a vertical textile manufacturer, Beverly Knits has rebranded to Beverly.
The company's manufacturing and warehousing facilities cover over 450,000 square feet in five buildings located in Gastonia, North Carolina, 55,000 square in Albemarle, NC, and 50,000 square feet in Hemingway, SC. Approximately 50% of Beverly's current production is devoted to apparel and 35% to bedding. The balance is split among automotive, medical, and industrial fabrics.

The Beverly Family of Companies
Beverly has expanded the operations to include dyeing, finishing, and cutting and sewing and capabilities. Each of the manufacturing segments operate as separate business unit. Together these business units work together as a vertical textile manufacturer known as The Beverly Family of Companies.
Beverly Knit's was founded in 1980 offering fabric analysis, R&D, greige good sales, and commission knitting. The company began selling finished fabric in 1995 under the name Creative Fabric Services.
In response to the increased demand of knitted fabric for mattresses, the company founded Creative Ticking in 2006 to sell its products directly to bedding markets.
In 2018, Beverly Knits expanded their services to include dyeing and finishing with the founding of Altus Finishing. Altus Finishing offers contract finishing services for the bedding, industrial and apparel markets.
In 2021, Beverly Knits purchased a cut and sew company in Hemingway, SC. Hemingway Sewing Solutions offers cutting and sewing services for the apparel and bedding markets.
In 2019, Beverly Knits created a partnership with Ames Europe to develop, manufacture, and supply knitted technical fabrics to the North America automotive industries.
In 2022, Beverly Knits purchased a dyeing and finishing company with the objective of completing their vertical integration.
